Facilities

The hotel caters for disabled guests, their families and/or escorts, in accommodation that has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the disabled.

Of the 26 bedrooms, 18 are on the Ground floor with the remainder on the first floor. The upstairs rooms are accessible by Stairlift for those with mobility problems. Every room is designed with the disabled in mind, including special beds, hoists to enable the severely disabled to get into and out of bed and walk- in/wheel-in showers.

The ground floor rooms vary in size and facilities, but the majority are twins. Nine of these rooms are fitted with electric beds and hoists making them particularly suitable for the more severely disabled guests.

The dining room is easily accessible for all guests and we cater for most dietary requests.

The Hotel has a large indoor heated swimming pool specially designed with wheelchair ramps and hoists for ease of access and exit. Hotel staff are available to assist guests into and out of the pool and are on the pool side whenever it is in use.

The Hotel provides a wide range of in-house evening entertainment ranging from bingo evenings, karaoke, 'pub' quizzes, ten-pin bowling, boules/petanque and visiting entertainment.
