Q: Are guests met upon arrival?
A: All guests are met at their point of arrival (either Airport or Harbour) and transferred to Maison des Landes in our specially adapted mini buses.
Q: Does the hotel provide Nursing?
A: Nursing care is not provided within the hotel, therefore guests must either be able to attend to their personal needs or be accompanied by an able-bodied guest capable of doing so. A District Nurse can be arranged to visit at additional cost to the guest but this should be requested at the time of booking.
Q: Can special equipment be provided?
A: Special equipment is available including hoists, hospital beds, electric beds, ripple mattresses, manual wheelchairs, zimmer frames, monkey poles, commodes etc. A limited number of electric wheelchairs and scooters are available to hire.
Q: Does the hotel have a bar?
A: The hotel has a liquor licence. Wine, spirits and cold drinks are available at reasonable cost.
Q: Does the hotel provide entertainment?
A: In house entertainment is varied and may include Bingo, Karaoke, Quiz nights, Country & Western evenings, Fancy Dress Party night etc. A visit to the local Ten Pin Bowling is also usually available.
Q: Do you take guests out on excursions?
A: Our mini buses depart daily (except Sunday) and take guests on sightseeing trips as well as our beaches and other places of interest. Subject to weather and timetables a day trip to France is available at extra cost.
Q: Are special diets catered for?
A: We try and cater for all dietary requests but would ask guests to inform us of any special needs at least a month prior to arrival.
Q: Does the hotel have a pool?
A: The hotel has a large heated indoor swimming pool with special wheelchairs for both ramped access and electric hoist access.
